Yet another place of stunning beauty is the Mohatta palace. Being a palace structure, it has a regal air about it, which endears it to its visitors. Built by Hindu Marwari businessman, it showcases an Indo Saracenic architectural style and is built using pink sandstone sourced from Johdpur. The beauty and majestic look of the palace is stunning as are the lovely lighted fountains in the front of the palace.

The Mereweather clock tower is a place of stunning beauty, with its neo-gothic style look. It was built in 1884 and is symbol of the times of the British Raj. The entire structure look like that of the Eleanor crosses. The clock tower’s architecture is marvelous and highly impressive, giving a look like nothing else.

The majestic St Patrick’s cathedral is yet another fabulous place to visit. It is situated in Clarke Street and is an example of Gothic revival architecture. It has the capacity to seat 5000 people and is a majestic in its architecture, which has resulted in it becoming a protected structure.
